For best results, use Legendary Prod 3 Modules instead of Prod 2. While the ship works with normal fusion reactors, making them legendary wont hurt either.
This ship currently runs great with explosive damage 12 and laser damage 14, but it can probably work with less (I am playing on 400% asteroid density, so if you are on default settings you should be just fine with much lower research levels)
I also have asteroid productivity 11, although that shouldnt matter too much.
